I began training with Wing Tsun London a few years ago as a 30-day challenge, to try something new, for a bit of fun, as it were! Fast-forward nine years and I'm still as hooked as the first day!
Wing Tsun is a great discipline to train the body, mind and soul, and the teachers at Wing Tsun London always make sure that everyone has a good sweat whilst tuning into the here and now, leaving behind all the stress of the day and any worries for tomorrow. Wing Tsun has helped me improve many skills, from coordination to endurance, from persistence to personal confidence, and of course it has given me a valuable self-defence toolkit. Wing Tsun London is a fun and supportive environment and its teachers are highly skillful in both theory and practice. They are always ready to help students work on their weaknesses and develop new strengths. In conclusion, what began as a 30-day challenge has turned into a lifetime challenge 😅 ...but a really great one!

It's been almost a year since my son join the class and he is enjoying every lesson. SiHing Gabor is professional and dedicated while teaching his students. He gives everyone student time and attention in a class of 10 or more. I can see the improvement each class session my son attends and how the art of Wing Tsun grew in him. SiHing Gabor also provides feedback for each student. I would recommend 🙌🙌💯

Wing Tsun London is a great place to learn traditional martial arts with amazing teachers in a friendly environment. You learn real life self defence techniques while having fun and getting fit. A great place to train, I highly recommend it.

This is a great wing tsun school - the teachers are all really talented, patient and encouraging. It is an extremely friendly and fun atmosphere. The class has become an extended family! Love it here, would recommend!

I've been at the school for around a year now. The instructor is calm, responsive and has coherent answers for any questions put to him, with solid demonstrations to back his answers up. The emphasis on the unity of the system, on understanding the Cantonese terms, on note taking (to aid remembering particularly complex sequences), combined with full-on contact training (with the use of chest pads designed by the school) is excellent, as intensity of training and adherence to technical mastery are held in balance with each other. Overall, I'd say this is about as complete a learning experience as you could hope for and, from what I see, provides the support for its students to take things as far as they can.

The best place to train WT! Focusing on self defence, wing tsun is the best way to train both your physical, and mental health! Having been trained for more than a year i can say, it gives you so much satisfaction when you see yourself progressing. The teachers are well knowledgeable, helpful, and will guide you on every step of your way. Seminars are also there for you to boost your knowledge and learn from grand masters. Would recommend 100%

I’ve been attending training for approx 7/8 month and thoroughly enjoy it. The teachers are patient but also challenge one (you get out what you put it!). The atmosphere is very inclusive with various skill levels, ages and genders all training together. If you are looking for good exercise, to learn something and to have the confidence to defend yourself if necessary you should give it a go.

I have been a student of the school for over six years, and as I am progressing in my journey of Wing Tsun I love it more and more. This martial art doesn’t only teach you self-defence, but provides you with essential skills for your everyday and professional lives too. The teachers are really dedicated; they care about each student’s personal development, and help them achieve their individual goals. The classes have a great vibe and everyone is made to feel welcome. I can truly recommend it!

FREE Women's Self Defence Class - In memory of Sarah Everard

On 18 February, we are hosting a free women’s self-defence class in memory of Sarah Everard, whose tragic death five years ago deeply affected women across the UK and beyond.

This class is offered as a space of solidarity, empowerment, and remembrance. It’s not about fear — it’s about confidence, awareness, and practical skills that can help women feel stronger and safer in everyday life.

What is Wing Tsun?

Wing Tsun kung-fu is one of the most effective self defence systems that can be learned within a short period of time by anyone, regardless of age, sex or level of physical fitness. History tells us that the system was created by the Buddhist nun, Ng Moi, and four other survivors of the destruction of the Shaolin Monastery and was developed to train rebels against the Manchu (Qing) dynasty. 

Who is Wing Tsun London?

We are an independent association based in London teaching authentic Wing Tsun Kung-Fu.

Why train with us?

Teaching is a passion for us and we welcome anyone who is willing to learn not just the techniques of this art but also how to respect one another. As a student of the Wing Tsun London Association, you will become part of an environment of helpful and hard-working students. We will guide you through the basics to the advanced materials, which will not only help you understand yourself and others around you but also stay fit, relieve stress, and occupy your mind like – we believe – nothing else.

FREE Women's Self Defence Class - In memory of Sarah Everard

Wing Tsun London Martial Arts Schools are looking to come together to help train woman in basic self defence moves, grip break techniques, and attacks against any would be assailant. The 11 London schools will be coming together to put on a free event for women to empower them and help the Clapham community. Women across London are welcome and invited to come and be part of this event, a place to network and find other women interested in taking their power back.

More Info

Men from all of the London based schools will be available to simulate real attacks and show practical ways to escape arm grips, grabs and attacks from behind. This practical hands on training is  open to any skill level and any age (the current eldest female student is 82).

This is in honor of Sarah Everard who was kidnapped by a police officer and subsequently murdered. The 5th anniversary of this is on 3 March 2026.

Wing Tsun London wants to be part of the community effort that helps to make sure something like this won’t happen again.

Although this is an absolutely free event any donation received will go to Suzy Lamplugh Trust, a charity spearheading women’s personal safety awareness and education.
